I recently had a chance to tour the gorgeous Victorian Belle Mansion wedding venue here in North Portland and can't wait to share some of the highlights. Come, let's walk through together!

Even at the entrance steps you can tell that the Victorian Belle has the ability to elevate your day thanks to its rich history and unique appearance. Fun fact, the Victorian Belle mansion was built in 1885 for a royal sum of $8,000. Could you even imagine building a mansion for that today?

Guests walking through the gates are treated to a lovely garden path that leads to the main ceremony space, including a central fountain for photo ops and key moments. You can even do a smaller ceremony around the fountain if you have a guestlist of under 50. Spiraling from this hub are the multiple amenities, including the north lawn where you will likely set up your ceremony, the gazebo, the east lawn tent, and of course the mansion.

As the biggest landmark, the Victorian Belle mansion is going to delight your guests and be a huge draw for you in the wedding party as well. It's three stories tall with multiple getting-ready rooms, all of which are lovingly decorated with antique furniture and a fanciful architecture, and one even has a pool table! While you can easily get ready anywhere (I have some stories there, but for another time), surrounding yourself with beauty goes a long way toward putting you more at ease.

Can we just talk about the photos you can take from this veranda though? This is a great vantage point for your photographer to snap some unique angles, and plus it's just an awesome place to look out when you need some air. Though even if you want to stay inside, the vintage stained glass windows are a sight to lift your spirits.

As mentioned, the north lawn is the largest open space and likely where you'll decide to place your ceremony. There are a number of configurations you can set things up, either with the mansion as a backdrop or as just another attendee facing the wedding party. There's plenty of room here for up to 200 guests.

Over in the east lawn tent, you have some options as well. At 1800 square feet, you can opt to do your whole ceremony there, or make that your reception area and dance hall. It's a good versatile space and vital in the Pacific Northwest to have an option that can quickly get your out of the rain.

Then there's the gazebo, which is such a cute extra space. It can handle a wedding of up to 150 guests, or act as a dining space that can accommodate up to 80 people. Once again planning for the Pacific Northwest, it can be left with a more open-air style allowing for a cool breeze throughout, or sheltered off with heaters during the cooler months.
I could absolutely gush over the Victorian Belle for hours. It's the sort of place that functions as a bombastic statement or a peaceful reverence depending on your style and needs. If you'd like to plan your wedding at the Victorian Belle, hey, let's talk! I'd love to make the occasion even better together!
