Wedding Venue Tour: Aurora Vineyards

On today's wedding venue tour, I'd like to invite you to Aurora, Oregon, another beautiful, scenic town in the Pacific Northwest. After you've checked out the historic area and enjoyed a few great antique shops, maybe it's time to plan that wedding and have a nice little wine tasting while you're at it. With that in mind, let's go on a quick wedding venue tour of Aurora Vineyards.

I've definitely said how beautiful Oregon's outdoors can be, and here in Aurora is no exception. The charm of a gorgeous natural backdrop is that you don't have to add a whole lot to make the event space pop. Nature does the heavy lifting, allowing you to focus on smaller flourishes and special touches to make the event truly yours.

As soon as you arrive in the parking lot you'll find it inviting. The space does a great job of keeping the parking close but not visible from the wedding space itself, and is fully wheelchair accessible for guests.

Speaking of guests, Aurora Vineyards is a great option for wedding parties expecting 200+ people as the venue will accommodate up to 250 guests in the interior of the Event Center for a standing reception and 160 for an indoor seated banquet. If you use both the indoor seating area and the outdoor patios, banquet seating goes up to 280 guests.

Looking at that indoor area, the Event Center provides on-site catering, which cannot be overstated how convenient it is to wrap in multiple aspects of your wedding plan under one roof. Plus, their in-house bars have wheels on them, which is cool and allows for more freedom in how you'd like to stage the space. Did we mention this is at a vineyard and a winery? Yeah, you'll have the option of adding some in-house red, white, and rosé wine bottles to the day. Clink clink!

The overall aesthetic is, as you'd guess, rustic vineyard with modern touches, with barn façades on the restrooms and a farmhouse with getting-ready space that comes included with the standard wedding packages but will cost an additional fee to rent if you choose the smallest package. The two floors of the getting-ready space are great, with a comfy feel that can really help take some of the stress out of the planning and preparation.

The outdoor amphitheater is a highlight of any ceremony as it gives you that great PNW mountainscape for photos and general ambiance. Ever wanted to invite Mt. Hood as a guest to your wedding? This is definitely your chance!

I just love the Pacific Northwest's beauty, so I'm always eager to help couples plan that perfect Oregon or Washington ceremony in the great outdoors (or the great indoors right next to the great outdoors). If Aurora Vineyards is getting you excited and you'd like to start planning something, let's talk! I'd love to make your wedding something special in Aurora!
